End of Year

Well, the year is quickly coming to an end. I can hardly believe it. It has been a great year for me with a lot of exciting opportunities and 2008 is looking even better! Thank you to all who have supported Famous Blue. We are having a great time sharing the music with you. If you haven’t picked up your copy yet…now is a great time to buy one for the person who has everything on your Christmas list (also now available on Amazon!). Monday Off’s CD is also still available if you still haven’t bought your copy!
There are a lot of exciting things coming up for 2008. I will be at Joe’s Pub for a very exciting double bill with my friend Melissa Stylianou on March 31. It’s a venue I’ve been wanting to play for a long time so I’m really looking forward to the performance. Also, you’ll hear my voice on the Nickelodeon show, “The Naked Brothers Band” sometime during the second season and it looks like there will be another Toronto show coming up for the ACQ in the Spring.
We are starting to prepare for another ACQ recording. We’re working up our new repertoire and coming up with creative ways to fund the project. I’ll be in touch as we get news about that. I’m also very excited about the new projects that I’ll be working on this year — recording “Couples Therapy” with Michal Cohen, a project with my husband Oded Lev-Ari and hopefully much more.
I’ve added some more live clips to the blog page, please check it out when you have a moment. I’ve also updated the photo page with photos from the ACQ’s recent Toronto tour and Cornelia Street Cafe shows. Lastly, I have posted a few radio interviews on the music page (about half way down). Check it out!
